Meet the Microschool Guides
Jasmine W.
Jasmine is a homeschooling mom of four who values learning alongside her children. While her undergrad focus was business and marketing, she’s currently pursuing a master’s in biblical studies and has a love for Christian apologetics. She began homeschooling when her first child turned three and considers it one of the greatest decisions she ever made.
“Kids will be free here. I’m so excited to create an atmosphere that balances structure and flexibility for the purpose of empowering independent thinkers and learners.”
Jenna W.
Jenna is certified in Early Childhood Education and Development and has a degree in Medical Assisting which she has primarily used in the last few years as a birth doula. As a homeschooling mama to four children, she values family and her Christian faith.
"My draw to Creation Acre comes from my love of the Charlotte Mason/Montessori/Reggio Emilia approach to schooling. I believe strongly that learning should be child-led and project-based. I think children learn the most when they are captivated by what they are learning."
Calista M.
Calista is a Montessori teacher who was blessed to be homeschooled for the majority of her schooling. She discovered her love for teaching while working as a Primary guide at a Montessori school in New Mexico. She later served as the Children’s Ministry Director at her church and has since moved to North Carolina. Here she taught in a four-language immersion school before joining the team at Creation Acre.
“I am honored to be a part of a team of guides whose mission is to provide a safe place for children to genuinely enjoy learning while making Christ the center of every step!”
