We have an incredible team ready to serve your students with an amazing camp experience. Check out their bios below. Come back later to see bios of our fall team.
Jasmine W.
Jasmine is a homeschooling mom of four and a master’s student at Southern Evangelical Seminary. She loves teaching and learning and is excited to launch Creation Acre this year. She’s a fan of gardening and traveling and enjoys attempting escape rooms and watching reruns of The Office.
“Kids are an inspiration. They view the world through a lens of possibility, unfiltered and full of hope. Through teaching, I hope to encourage them to continue being awesome.” - Jasmine
Julianne D.
Julianne has worked in education for the past three years and is pursuing a Master’s in teaching at UNC Charlotte. She loves writing and plans to one day publish children's books.
She enjoys traveling, hiking, and practicing yoga. When not teaching, you can usually find her hanging out at Amelie's French bakery or Freedom Park.
“Working with children has helped me gain a whole new perspective on the world. I love shaping the way they live their lives and providing the tools, resources, and support needed to help them reach their full potential.” - Julianne
Akeem W.
Akeem is a director of web development and has been coding for over 20 years. He enjoys the interaction between art and science that happens in web development. In his role as a manager, he values empowering people to reach their God-given potential.
Outside of work, he loves video games, good food, and family time. Akeem will assist with the digital and technology components of our camps.
"Building up kids is one of the major impacts you can make on the next generation."
